The Danish Defence Forsvaret, which besides Denmark, also includes Greenland Islands and the Faroe Islands, is the military of Denmark. The history of the force goes back to the 16th Century. Their special force units are Frømandskorpset, Jaeger Corps, and Slædepatruljen Sirius.

To join, one must be 18 years old. It is to note that the Forsvaret has conscription, meaning an 18-year-old
male might get called upon to join the department. The number of volunteers wanting to join is very high and
therefore only a small number of soldiers are conscripts. There is no conscription for women, but a good
number of women do join the Forsvaret.
Their physical fitness tests determine what Niveau you are. The level goes from 0 to 5. 5 is considered a soldier in excellent conditions.
