The US Marine Corps is one of the branches of the military in the United States and has served in lots of notable wars. They are known to be relentless and always training with other countries to increase their knowledge and craft.

The Physical Fitness Test of the Marines starts to show real challenges for some recruits. Foremost, the Marines are known to be one of the toughest people in the military. To be considered a high-level Marine, you should aim for at least 80 points in each category.


Oath: "I, _____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Marines Selection Test

This test involves 3 different exercises, which have to be completed in the listed order. Candidates can choose between pullups or pushups. However, if the candidate decides to perform pushups, he will never have the chance to achieve a max score. The limit for the Crunches is 2 minutes.

Marines Bootcamp

Know that, if you'd like to join the Marines, you should prepare yourself for a grueling 13 weeks of Bootcamp. In those 13 weeks, 70 days are considered training days. 15 % of the recruits will not make it through training. To join, you have to be between 17 and 29 years old and have your high school diploma. You also need to pass the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) and pass a military medical exam.
