The passing requirements listed here should only be used as guidance. All exercises are to be taken back to back and only minimal time is allowed in between each exercise. The cadre will expect more from you, and to make it through Selection, one should aim to have great numbers. The pullups are self-explanatory. For the pushups, the candidates are allowed a break of 2 seconds in either the up- or down position. Brutalbenks is an ab-exercise, where the candidate is doing an inverted sit-up hanging down. The candidate needs to bring the elbows which are tucked behind the head towards his knee in an upward motion.

Selection MJK Norway

During Selection, during one of the final phases, candidates will carry 60 KG on ruck marches, while being chased by the "enemy". Once they are caught by the enemy, they will undergo SERE training.
