My Personal Experience with the Sportabzeichen
Facts Sportabzeichen

The first Sportabzeichen that was invented in 1913 was only accessible to German Men, who belonged to Sports clubs.

Before the end of World War II, candidates who wanted to earn the Sportsbadge were put right in competition with other men and women. Age did not matter, as the candidates were judged equally to other competitors.

The "SA Sports Badge", which existed in the years 1935 to 1944 is nowadays forbidden and prohibited. One cannot wear, nor re-create this Sports Badge again. It was usually a badge that existed for military personnel and included various military exercises, such as ... orienteering, disguise, grenade throws, 25km rucking, and Shooting.
