To be considered for the selection course, one must have successfully gone through
the 6-month police academy and spend a year as a police officer. One must also have satisfactory
scores on yearly and monthly evaluations.
The selection course is 3 weeks long, intense, and internationally known.
It attracts members of different units from around the globe to participate and learn from the
selection course. They do incorporate some of the drills found in Navy Seals Buds
training. The attrition rate is very high.
